The multi-award IDIQ positions SEMPRE to provide the comprehensive digital infrastructure required for the next-generation missile defense, resilient communications, and distributed sensing across the Golden Dome enterprise.
Colorado Springs, CO — SEMPRE today announced that it has been selected as an awardee on the Missile Defense Agency’s SHIELD (Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense) multiple-award IDIQ, enabling the company to provide secure communications, resilient edge computing, integrated sensing, and rapid-deploy digital infrastructure in support of the nation’s evolving homeland defense architecture.
“The United States is entering an era in which the line between homeland defense and civilian life is disappearing,” said Rob Spalding, CEO of SEMPRE. “SHIELD reflects a new reality: the nation cannot rely on slow-to-deploy systems. Defense must be built on the infrastructure we already have—and hardened with the technologies we already trust. SEMPRE is honored to support MDA as it accelerates an architecture that is secure, resilient, and ready to scale.”
