SEMPRE Appoints Jared Miller as Chief Financial Officer

Veteran technology and defense finance leader brings deep experience in growth and capital strategy

‍COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — SEMPRE, the U.S. company delivering private 5G, edge computing, and resilient hybrid-cloud infrastructure for enterprise and government customers , today announced the appointment of Jared Miller as Chief Financial Officer.

Miller brings nearly three decades of finance, strategy, and operational leadership across high-growth technology, defense, AI/ML, and telecom organizations. His background spans CFO roles, major capital raises, M&A transactions, operational scaling, and advisory work for high-growth technology companies supporting national security missions.

Most recently, Miller served as Managing Director at Monument Partners, leading the firm’s CFO practice and advising technology, finance, and services companies on growth strategy, capital structure, and financial operations. He has served as fractional CFO for a series of advanced technology and defense companies including Aeon (tactical weapons systems), Overland AI (autonomous ground systems for the U.S. military), Symbl.ai (AI-powered communications intelligence), Pano AI (wildfire intelligence), and Ascend.vc, the Pacific Northwest’s most active pre-seed fund focused on AI/ML, data, and SaaS.

Miller previously served as CFO and Chief Commercial Officer at Protect America, where he led a multi-tranche debt refinancing, enterprise-wide performance optimization, and ultimately the company’s transaction to Brinks Home Security. He also spent more than a decade in leadership roles at Clearwire and XO Communications, directing strategy, business operations, and capital planning for a multi-billion dollar nationwide network deployment.

At SEMPRE, Miller will oversee corporate finance, capital strategy, financial operations, growth planning, and long-term investment to support the company’s rapid expansion across defense, aerospace, enterprise, and government markets.
